Characters

Ben

Our anti-hero. Leader of the Polecats. Born to be ornery. Bad to the bone.
Lucas Arts kept Ben from being able to get killed, and he's the character you control, so just follow the walkthrus below to find out what Ben's adventure consists of. His voice is performed by Mark Hamill.

Ben

Biker with Board

You'll find the 2x4 board on a biker that's on the Old Mine Road. You'll need the board to knock out the cavefish to get his goggles. (Press Shift + V to automatically win the fight.)

Bolus

Primal pond slime.
Bolus is one of Ripburger's goons, the dumb stupid one. He's just here for muscle. Nestor does all the driving and thinking, Bolus does the dirty physical work.

Bolus

Cavefish Biker

The cavefish blow up a freight truck over the bridge that spans the Payahuaga Gorge, thus taking out the bridge. The only way of getting past the gorge to Corley Motors is to jump it. You'll need to find the ramp, and some other things, to do this.
You have to get the ramp from the cave of the cavefish. To get in there, you need to use the board and whack a cavefish biker with it on the Old Mine Road. You can only hit him when his head is up though, so timing is a whole lot of the trick. (Press the right mouse button to take on/off the cavefish goggles once you have them.)

Corley, Malcolm

Don't be fooled by the suit. He's a biker at heart. He's devoted to turning out the best and baddest domestically-[roduced bike money can buy.
Malcolm Corley is the aging president of Corley Motors, the biggest and most major motorcycle company in the world. His assistant is a shrewd mean man, Adrian Ripburger. Corley only keeps him around because he has good business know-how. At the opening of the game, Corley and his assistant are heading to a shareholders meeting at the Corley Motors factory and arena, when a biker gang flies past them. Corley decides he wants the gang to join him at the shareholders meeting. You, Ben, refuse, and are knocked senseless while your gang is tricked into accepting the job. Ripburger uses this to his advantage by killing Malcolm and framing your gang, the Polecats. Malcolm, dying behind a gas station bathroom, tells you to hurt Ripburger bad, and have his daughter, Muareen, take over the company.

Corley, Muareen (Mo)

Born with a silver monkey wrench in her mouth. Don't take no gaff from nobody.
You first meet Muareen, or Mo as she likes to be called, when she takes you in after Miranda finds you on the road after your crash. She's great at fixing things, including your bike. You eventually learn that Mo is Corley's daughter, but he called her the Diaper Dynamo.
When she strings you up once you get to the Vulture hideout, tell her to "Let Me Go Or Else" "I'll call you names." Tell her you'll call her "Diapered Dynamo."

Mo

Dog in Junkyard

When you first get into the junkyard and touch the pile of parts with the forks in them, the dog chases you back onto the wall. Then he runs off to the screen with the junked cars. You need to feed the dog the meat you got in Todd's trailer. Walk all the way to the right of the junkyard. You will come to another screen with a bunch of beat up old cars. Put the meat in the closest car to the left side of that screen. The dog will run in there and start chowing down. Gob back into the main junkyard screen and get into the crane. It's in the upper left of the screen. Lift the car the dog is in up so that he can't jump out. Now, go back down to the parts pile and pick up the forks you need for your bike.

Emmet (Trucker w/ Knife)

Long-haul trucker. Short-fuse temper. Regards bikers as roadkill on wheels.
You meet Emmet after going back to the Kickstand because of the roadblock. He isn't a very friendly guy, but if you're persistent and have the right stuff he'll help you. He likes jabbing a knife between his outstretched fingers.

He'll let you play with his knife if you ask him enough times. If you give him the Fed ID that Miranda gives you, he'll give you a ride in his truck. Don't trust him completely though.

Father Torque

Father Torque used to be the leader of the Polecats until he retired and you took over. He has completely relinquished his leadership to you and won't give you any "advice" if you ask for it, since you're now the leader. He is retired, but he's got to have something to do, so he picks fights on the Old Mine Road.

When you meet him on the Old Mine Road, you must ask him every possible question. If you don't, he'll keep bothering you and keeping you from fighting on the road, until you get it all out of him.

Father Torque

Girl Biker with Chainsaw

If you can get the chainsaw from the girl biker on the Old Mine Road you will be able to win most fights with one swing. The easiest way to get it from her is to toss a bit of fertilizer in her face. Remember that it takes about a second to pull the manure out of your bag and toss it, so time wisely.

Horrace

Took too many falls off the bike without a helmet. Old Man Corley took pity on him and gave him the souvenir concession.
The guy's not too bright, so trick him.

Miranda

Thinks of herself as an investigative reprter. Lost her ideals her second semester in journalism school. Always vaguely ashamed when she manifests traces of humanity.
Young spunky Miranda is a and news photographer. She finds you after you crash in the desert after leaving the Kickstand to find your gang. Later, you find outside of Mo's because Miranda brought you there. You mention an ambush up the road you heard about from Quohog and she takes off to see what "gruesome" photos she can take. She takes photos of Ripburger murdering Malcolm Corley. She is soon caught, but escapes. Her camera is taken from her in the process. Later you find her in the dumpster behind the Kickstand. If you talk to her she'll give you some fake federal investigator ID so that you can get past the road block. If you give this ID to Emmet he'll take you on past the road block.

Miranda

Nestor

Intelligent, sneaky pond slime.
Nestor is one of Ripburger's goons, the "smart" one. The second-in-command guy.

Nestor

Quohog

Bartender at the Kickstand. Devout coward. Subject to bribery, intimidation, and abuse. Hobby: Macrame.
Quohog, the bartender of the Kickstand bar, tries to stay out of other people's way. Unfortunately he gets involved in this scandal and you'll have to talk to him at least once to go on with the game. You'll come back to his bar several times during the game.
To start with, he's got your keys. You'll need to get them from him. He doesn't seem to want to talk, though. Maybe a little force is in order. Perhaps your fist.

Quohog

Ripburger, Adrian

Pond slime in an Armani suit. We'd call him a weasel at heart, if he had a heart and it wasn't an insult to respectable weasels. Devoted to...Adrian Ripburger.
(Mark Hamill is the voice of Ripburger.)

Adrian Ripburger

Suzi

Vulture leader. Brilliant strategist. Built like a brick Buick. Has a tattoo that reads "I Love Cruel and Unusual Punisment."
She really doesn't have any need for you to know about her. She takes care of herself and that's all you need to know.

Todd

Lives in a trailer. Owns a junkyard. His best friend is his dog. His only friend is his dog. Enjoys intellectual TV like Wheel of Money and Entertainment This Evening.
Todd is the owner of the junkyard in Melonweed. (Mark Hamill is the voice of Todd.) He seems not to like people that much, but he does like his guard dog. He also like to tinker with metal.

To get into Todd's trailer, knock on the door, then kick it in when he's yelling at you. (The welding torch is in the basement which is accessed by an elevator that is triggered by stepping into the unlit fireplace.
(see Melonweed - Junkyard for hints on Todd's junkyard.)

Vulture Biker

The Vulture Biker has the rocket fuel booster that you need to jump the gorge. He boosts away from you soon after you encounter him.

The way to beat the guy on Old Mine Road with the boosters is to use the chain. If you select it before swinging with anything, you will notice that Ben hides it from the other biker. If you swing at him just before he takes off, and just after he reaches down to activate his boosters, you can knock him off his bike.
Sef Dresslar

If this doesn't help, try using fertilizer, the chainsaw, or simply the cheat. (see Cheats - Win Old Mine Road Fights) to knock the dude out to get the fuel you need.
